Our Commitment

Out the Matrix, Inc. wants this website and our housing inquiry process to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. We aim to follow the accessibility and nondiscrimination requirements that apply to us, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing practice rather than a one-time fix.

Requesting an Accommodation

If you need an accommodation at any point — whether for using this website, submitting an inquiry, or during a housing inquiry conversation — please tell us. Housing inquiries are reviewed individually, and accommodation requests are part of that review. We do not treat people with disabilities as categorically ineligible for a housing inquiry.

You can raise an accommodation request through the housing inquiry form, or contact us directly using the details below. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis or medical history to make a request — just tell us what you need.

Reporting a Barrier

If you encounter a barrier on this website, we want to know about it. Helpful details include:

  • The page or section where you ran into difficulty
  • What you were trying to do
  • The device, browser, and any assistive technology you were using
  • What happened, if you are able to describe it

If the website is blocking you from submitting an inquiry at all, you can always reach us by phone or email using the contact details below, and we will take your inquiry that way.

How We Handle Requests

We review accessibility reports and accommodation requests as they come in and address them as we are able. Some website changes take longer than others to implement. Where an issue prevents you from completing a task, we will work with you directly on an alternative way to do it in the meantime.
